Matt Damon’s career started around the year 1992 when he acted in movies School Ties (1992), but also Geronimo: An American Legend (1993), and Rising Sun (1993) the next year. He was so dedicated at the time, that he lost 40 pounds for a role of a soldier with a drug addiction needed for Courage Under Fire (1996) movie. Even then his courage showed, although it caused health problems for him because of losing the weight very fast.
It was the year 1997 that changed Matt Damon’s life forever. He wrote a screenplay for Good Will Hunting when he was taking an English class at Harvard University. Unfortunately, he later dropped out to pursue acting, but it was that moment that took him to a next level. He did not win an Oscar for the Best Actor but shared an Oscar win with his best friend, Ben. Next came another iconic role – Saving Private Ryan in 1998, directed by Steven Spielberg. He met his now-wife on the set of Stuck on You (2003) and later went on to star as Jason Bourne, an agent that gets in a lot of trouble when he doesn’t remember who he is. Take a look at how it all looked in 2002:

The future isn’t tightly-packed for Matt Damon, but we know one thing for sure. A movie called Ocean’s 8 will launch very soon this year and is yet another impossible heist to be done. They’re trying to steal a necklace that Anne Hathaway wears in the movie, and an old cast is present, of course – Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Katie Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter and others. It’s produced by George Clooney, plus a lot of celebrities are starring too – Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, Zayn Malik, and more!
