George Clooney

George Clooney

George Clooney is an American actor born on May 6th, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky. But it’s not those younger days people remember him by, mostly. It’s when he achieved maturity and his hair started to go grey that he was the most wanted bachelor, sought by females around the world. But now, a couple years later, we can see he needed a good woman to settle down, as he married Amal Alamuddin in 2014, and now has twins. But George Clooney’s career is still on the rise, apart from his family life. Even though he already won 2 Oscars in 2006 and 2013, he shows no signs of stopping.

Before his movie career started, George Clooney was a very active sportsman, although not professionally. He played basketball and baseball, and it wasn’t until his cousin got a small role that he realized it’s something he’d like to do. There are a lot of stories about his humble beginnings, and his living in a friends’ closet for a year while seeking roles. The first major role was in E/R in 1984 where he was doctor Doug Ross. Then we saw him as a supervisor in Roseanne, Detective James Falconer in Sisters (1991).

But it was really ER that marked his career, and he starred with Anthony Edwards, who is still his good friend. But he made a decision to leave it in favor of starring in movies like O Brother, Where Art Thou? in 2000, The Perfect Storm and Ocean’s Eleven (2001). Ocean’s Eleven later got two sequels, Ocean’s Twelve (2004) and Ocean’s Thirteen (2007). It was where he became even better friends with Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. George Clooney starred in the movie Tomorrowland three years ago, and it’s what most of younger crowd recognizes him from. Take a look at the trailer, and tell us if that’s what you predicted future will be?

Catch-22 (pre-production) Colonel Cathcart

What does the future hold for George Clooney? We’re not entirely sure, and we honestly think he should focus on family life until his children grow up. But it is scheduled for him to star in a mini-TV series called Catch-22 where he’ll be Colonel Cathcart. It’s about a struggle of a pilot trying to be deemed insane so he can stop flying missions. We’ve yet to see how it will turn out, but knowing George Clooney, it can’t go wrong.
