Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt is an actor and producer born in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Right from the start, he was very active, not only in a debate and drama club but also in sports. Brad has two siblings – a brother and a sister and dropped out just two days before his graduation from the University of Missouri, majoring in the advertisement. So Brad Pitt is not only a handsome face, but also very humble, and worked different jobs to support himself while being an aspiring actor. Brad has won one Oscar for the movie 12 Years a Slave in 2013.

His first roles weren’t in movies, but in TV shows like Another World (1964-1999) and Dallas (1978). He kept guest-starring in different TV shows and had a small part in Thelma & Louise (1991). However, that was enough for Brad Pitt to be noticed, and receive roles in movies that came out that year and the next – Johnny Suede (1991) and Cool World (1992). The audience started to take notice of his skills, and not just his pretty face, and he started receiving more and more roles.

Brad Pitt gave an interview on Red Carpet Premiere of Fury in 2014

The most significant one was in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994), where he played next to another multi-talented actor, Tom Cruise. Legends of the Fall (1994) came after that, as well as Twelve Monkeys in 1995, and he received a Golden Globe for his role as a supporting actor. But the most significant role after Troy (2004), was Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005). Not only did it change his professional life, but his personal love life as well. That was when he left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie, and even though they filed for divorce in 2016, they still have six beautiful children together. There’s not much in cards for Brad Pitt, as we believe he’s still processing his divorce. But we know two things for sure, he’s filmed a sequel to World War Z (2013), coming out in 2018 probably, as well as Ad Astra, a movie set in a galaxy about searching for aliens, coming out in January of 2019.

Brad Pitt Facts

  • Made a cameo appearance with Matt Damon for free in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) as a favor to Ocean’s Eleven (2001) co-star and close friend George Clooney – the film was Clooney’s directorial debut.
  • He was considered for the main role in The Matrix (1999), but Keanu Reeves took it later.
  • Actually tore his Achilles tendon during the filming of Troy (2004). He’s playing a character called Achilles, funnily enough.
  • Brad Pitt was the first man to be deemed ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ by People magazine twice, both in 1994 and 2000.
  • His high-school nickname was Brad the ‘Pitt-bull’, which is where he came up with the name we know him by today.
